My home is located in the Smoke Rise Community. As a resident, I am a member and I am entitled to use all common areas and amenities.
What is the Smoke Rise Club Community?
It is a private lake community of 920 single family households. It is a professionally managed Home Owners Association. Overseen by a Board of elected residents. In the beginning Smoke Rise was based on a duel philosophy that no two homes would look alike with a minimum size of 2500 square feet located on a one and a half acre wooded lot.
Is it a condominium?
No. Residents own their homes and the land. The management company and staff maintains all shared common properties.
How large is the Smoke Rise Club community?
Smoke Rise Club includes approximately 2,500 acres with 30+ miles of road. It contains 100+ acres of common property and a 108 acre recreational lake for swimming, fishing and sailing. There is a pond for ice skating and a field used for baseball, soccer and lacrosse.
Where is Smoke Rise?
It is located in northern Morris County, New Jersey in the Town of Kinnelon. It is approximately 30+ miles from New York City and just off Route 23 and close to Interstate Route 287. The Club is surrounded by preserved park lands and watershed woodlands.

Can I visit the Smoke Rise Club?
Access to Smoke Rise is via one of two manned gates. To enter you must be a resident, a resident’s guest or be accompanied by a realtor.

What amenities are included in the Smoke Rise Club?
In brief, there is a sandy beach with a snack bar, recreational fields, tennis courts, two playgrounds, horse riding rings, a restaurant, numerous sub-clubs such as; the Mothers Group, Fishing Club, Smoke Rise Players, Riding Club, Tennis Club, Swim Team, Striders (joggers),etc.

Due to normal turnover, approximately 5% to 6% or are for sale.
What is the price ranges of homes for sale?
Prices vary widely. Realtors have listings that range from high $450,000’s for a house that requires some updating to $2 million +.

Family community, security, privacy, beautiful natural surroundings, optional Club sponsored social activities, excellent schools, access to major highways, excellent services, etc. Many residents trade up to houses within the Community and many children raised in Smoke Rise return to Smoke Rise to raise their children.
